Mother in Zion: Sister Ertha Benn Jackson

Mother in Zion: Sister Ertha Benn Jackson

Being a mother in today’s world is very challenging. There are so many distractions waiting for our children “out there”. Some of our children do get caught up in them, and some may even destroyed by them.

As a mother of two children, I am very grateful for the restored gospel. Having this gospel in my life lets me teach my children true gospel principles, so that they can govern themselves accordingly or appropriately whenever they are met with those distractions.

Proverb 22:6 tells us to “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

Sister Ertha Benn Jackson is from the Calliaqua Branch in St. Vincent and is presently serving as 1st Councilor in the Relief Society. She loves serving her sisters in the Church. This is Sister Jackson with her daughter, Sariah.
